Description

The SaskQTY Network is a Canada Service Corps funded project aimed at fostering the engagement of underrepresented youth groups in civic life. This project is meant to establish a network of Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Asexual, Intersex, Pansexual (2SLGBTQAIP+) and allied youth across the province. Youth from ages 14 to 30 will be paired with a mentor for support and assistance throughout the project. They will also join workshops to gain skills in project planning and management, grant applications and reports, basic administration, networking, and to gain knowledge in queer professionalism and non-profit work.
